TOSSI Nursery in February: 5 Feb 2012 - 1 Mar 2012
The nursery is at it's busiest time right now and we need all the help we can get! The TOSSI nursery provides ALL the plants that are used in revegetation programs in the sanctuary. The atmosphere is fun and includes all training and home baking. It's light work and all under cover. February nursery sessions are: Sunday 5.2.12 at 9:15am; Tuesday 7.2.12 at 9:00am; Monday 13.2.12 at 9:30am; Tuesday 14.2.12 at 9:00am; Thursday 16.2.12 at 9:00am; Monday 20.2.12 at 9:30am; Tuesday 21.2.12 at 9:00am; Tuesday 28.2.12 at 9:00am. We can also cater for business and community groups looking to make a difference to the environment.

New homes for birds! Creating new bushland habitat is vital to cater for the growing numbers of birds at Tawharanui. Come and help plant 20,000 trees and shrubs. Bring strong boots/shoes, gloves, drinks and snacks. Sausage sizzle lunch provided.
