COVID-19 closes Tawharanui Open Sanctuary for volunteer activity
Published on 23-03-2020Email To Friend    Print Version

Tawharanui Open Sanctuary volunteer activity suspended until further notice. The Northern Parks management team have decided to suspend all volunteering on regional parks from today. We know that parks play an important part in people’s mental and physical well-being. You may still visit the park for recreation but we ask that you stay away from all operational areas, i.e. use the park only as our general public do. We are being very careful managing staff contact to enable our rangers to operate as long as possible to keep our parks available for the public. Thank you and apologies for inconvenience.
