TOSSI COVID-19 level 3 lockdown update
Published on 23-04-2020Email To Friend    Print Version

Just a quick note regarding volunteer activity resumption and alert levels.Auckland Council has not yet finalised what alert level 3 operations look like. We believe that this won’t include welcoming volunteers back into Tāwharanui Open Sanctuary operations. Park rangers are trying very hard to keep the park and sanctuary ticking over while adhering to Government guidelines. They also are working hard to keep all staff and their bubbles safe, and key to this is limiting the number of people present in the workplace. The principles of level 3 mean we must continue in this same manner for the next three weeks - with volunteer work off the agenda until May 11, at least. Please keep doing your bit to keep everyone safe and before we know it - we'l be back at Tāwharanui.
