Temporary Park Closure – 12 July to
7 August
Tāwharanui Regional Park will be temporarily closed from Sunday 12 July at 7:00 pm until Friday 7 August at 7:00 pm.
The park is closing to allow an important pest eradication operation to take place.
🌱 Planting Day is Still On – Sunday 2 August
Our community planting day will go ahead as planned.
Access to the park will be strictly limited to the planting site, which is located near the nursery. Planting volunteers should travel directly to and from the planting area and follow any instructions from park staff.
No Camping
Please note that camping will not be available over the planting weekend.
